Scarlett Johansson not at Oscars, still happy
When Kodak Theatre in LA was welcoming all the biggies of Hollywood for the 79th Annual Academy Awards, it didn’t see a famous face that night. Scarlett Johansson wasn’t present at the gala event but was sure in good company with Dalit children in Uttar Pradesh, India.
The 22-year-old has associated herself with Oxfam and has beentouring India to address the poor and provide them the needed. “Her support is crucial in helping to show how the smallest donation to Oxfam can mean the world of difference to a poor community,” AFP quoted Oxfam Executive Director Jeremy Hobbs. Scarlett is making some sensible news these days.

She is not just satisfied being honored the sexiest lady in Hollywood but she also want people to believe how daring and gutsy she is when it comes to voicing her opinion on critical issues. Apart from helping Oxfam in India, she has also started expressing herself. In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, Johansson let loose some political steam saying, “We’re supposed to be liberated in America but if our president had his way, we wouldn’t be educated about sex at all. Every woman would have six children and we wouldn’t be able to have abortions.” Johansson also said a few words for celebrities using charity work to boost their own profiles, “You’re always going to have people who hop on the bandwagon when something is hip. The important thing to remember is that women and children in Africa need help and that has nothing to do with my career.” Looks like the lady sure wants to show that she has really got mettle in her!
It is not Justin Timberlake whom Johansson will go ahead with. Johansson has denied reports that say that she and Timberlake are dating each other. She says, “We have a lot of friends in common, and Justin’s a sweetheart, and it’s always good to see him but there’s a lot of speculation and I try not to read that stuff. I think when two people are single and are seen together, it’s immediately like a crazy feeding frenzy.” Timberlake had a split with Cameron Diaz, his girlfriend of three years just a month back and Johansson dated Josh Harnett until last year. So lets see if the friends will ever find some solace in each other!
this time it was at Miami when she won a one-year lease on a $2.2 million condoin South Beach. She had gone there to attend the Super Bowl celebrations. According to her representative, “She won the lease, (but) we made a decision that day to donate it to a children’s organization. Possibly Miami Children’s Hospital, so visiting parents have a nice place to stay.” Good decision dear!
Josh Hartnett is a closed chapter for Scarlett Johansson. The sexy lady is now is sear for a British man. “I’d love to go out with a tall, dark, handsome Brit with piercing blue eyes and cut-glass London accent,” she says. The actress who broke up with the Pearl Harbor star late last year is 22 now. So is there any eligible one who is interested to become world’s envy for having the damsel?
Enough of describing Scarlett Johansson as the sexiest woman on earth guys for she is all set to de-sexify her look for a new movie role. Though there are no claimants as yet to her outrageously sexy body and stunning looks… the actress is all set to play a character that needs nothing of her looks or sex appeal. Scarlett would play the role of a student doubling up as a nanny in an attempt to support her college.
